iPX5155, similar to iPX5151, accepts audio and RS485 data and converts to TCP/IP and vice versa.

The difference is it would normally receive BGM and whenever a paging is destined for the client, it shall mute the BGM. The music would resume once the paging is deactivated. However, any emergency paging shall have highest priority over BGM and normal paging.​

It has better audio quality streaming, suitable for high fidelity audio, capable of streaming of up to 320 kbps MP3 file. User shall have choice in selecting the streaming bit rate and has 5 band equalizer.

Apart from paging setup, it can be used as peer to peer audio streaming in a network.
